For our 20th wedding anniversary we visited Cancun, Mexico! We wanted to mark our 20th anniversary in a special way. It was our first time in Mexico and we wanted a romantic getaway and we decided on Secrets Silversands Riviera Maya resort. Secret Silversands is an all inclusive resort in that the price you pay for the stay includes food and drinks. Everything thing is freely available except where you need a service that can only be provided by human. For instance when we wanted to go sailing, we had to pay. But we could have taken the boat ourselves but since we were not experienced we paid for help. We went in July so it was a bit too hot but we were determined to have fun and oh what fun we had. I've been married for 20 years after dating my husband for 7 years. Our marriage was not easy in the beginning but with time, deliberate effort and commitment to making our marriage work, we were able to figure out what works for us. In 2016 we decided to embark on a trip for ten to South Africa. As you can imagine, planning a trip for 10 was not an easy task considering that two of the ladies we went with had never met me. I asked good friends to visit South Africa with me. One of my friends has friends who, upon hearing about our trip wanted to join in. I never gave it a thought, I just said, okay, let's do it. Not knowing how difficult it would be to plan a trip for ten, I said yes and never looked back. It turned out to be one of the best vacations our family has ever taken.
