Hi All, I thought since I just came back from Cape Town, South Africa, and I was born and raised there I would do my best to give you a list of good restaurants in and around Cape Town area. Bear in mind that Cape Town is a melting pot of cultures therefore very few restaurants sell authentic South African foods. Also, South Africa as a country is very westernized with a heavy South Asia influences in its cuisines.But, having said all of that, you can still find restaurants that sell authentic South African foods. Though the food is not that much different than your typical American or western foods, you will find that South African foods taste so much better because because of the aforementioned Asian influences. In 2016 we decided to embark on a trip for ten to South Africa. As you can imagine, planning a trip for 10 was not an easy task considering that two of the ladies we went with had never met me. I asked good friends to visit South Africa with me. One of my friends has friends who, upon hearing about our trip wanted to join in. I never gave it a thought, I just said, okay, let's do it. Not knowing how difficult it would be to plan a trip for ten, I said yes and never looked back. It turned out to be one of the best vacations our family has ever taken.
